Design Blocks

Design Blocks

Design Blocks are widgets that can be drag-and-dropped onto website pages using the Contensive page editor. They provide pre-built content sections for common website needs. Each widget can be styled with background images, padding, themes, and more.

Adding a Widget to a Page

  1. Navigate to the page in the Contensive page editor.
  2. Click the widget tool to open the widget panel.
  3. Find the widget you want in the Design Blocks category.
  4. Drag the widget onto the page at the desired location.
  5. Click the edit icon on the widget to configure its content and settings.

Available Widgets

Accordion Widget

The Accordion Widget displays collapsible content sections. Each section has a header that can be clicked to expand or collapse its content. Use this widget to organize frequently asked questions, feature lists, or any content that benefits from a show/hide interaction.

The Breadcrumb Widget displays a navigation trail showing the current page's position within the site hierarchy. It helps visitors understand where they are and navigate back to parent pages.

Call To Action Widget

The Call To Action Widget displays a centered headline, brief description, and a prominent button. Use this widget to encourage visitors to take a specific action such as signing up, learning more, or making a purchase.

The Carousel Widget displays a rotating set of images with optional click-through links. Visitors can navigate between slides manually or let them auto-rotate. Use this widget to showcase multiple images or promotions in a single space.

Child Page List Widget

The Child Page List Widget displays a list of child pages beneath the current page. It automatically generates navigation links to sub-pages, making it easy for visitors to browse related content.

Contact Us Widget

The Contact Us Widget provides a configurable contact form that visitors can fill out to send a message. It collects visitor information and can be configured to send notifications, add contacts to groups, and display a custom thank-you message.

CTA Popup Widget

The CTA Popup Widget displays a call-to-action in a popup modal that appears after a configurable delay. It supports multiple layout options including full width image, top image, text left, and text only. The popup is shown once per visitor.

Embed Code Widget

The Embed Code Widget allows you to insert custom HTML or JavaScript code directly into a page. Use this widget to embed third-party content such as maps, social media feeds, forms, or any other external service.

Four Column Widget

The Four Column Widget provides a four-column layout where each column can contain its own addon or content. Use this widget to display related content side by side in a balanced grid.

Group Directory Widget

The Group Directory Widget displays a directory of members from a specified group. It supports multiple layout options including a default list view, card view, and card view with email addresses. Use this widget to create staff directories, team pages, or member listings.

Headline Widget

The Headline Widget displays a headline with configurable alignment and heading level. Use this widget to add prominent section headers to your pages.

Hero Image Widget

The Hero Image Widget displays a large banner image that spans the full width of the page. It supports overlay text, a shade overlay for readability, and a call-to-action button. Use this widget for page headers, feature sections, or promotional banners.

The Image Gallery Widget displays a collection of images in a grid layout. Visitors can click on images to view them in a larger format. Use this widget to showcase photos, portfolios, or product images.

Image Slider Widget

The Image Slider Widget displays images in a sliding carousel format. It supports multiple images per slide and automatically rotates through them. Use this widget to present multiple images in a compact, interactive display such as partner logos or product images.

Image Widget

The Image Widget displays a single image on the page. It supports configurable aspect ratios and optional heading and description text.

Login Widget

The Login Widget provides a login form for site visitors. It supports redirect after login so visitors can be sent to a specific page after authenticating.

Mock Widget

The Mock Widget is a development and testing tool that renders a layout template with custom JSON data. It is used by developers to preview layout designs before building a full widget.

One Column Widget

The One Column Widget provides a single-column layout container. It can hold one addon or content block and supports background images, padding, and theme styling. Use this widget to wrap another widget with specific styling.

Page Extension Widget

The Page Extension Widget extends a page's content with additional sections. Use this widget to add supplementary content areas to a page beyond its primary content, such as related information panels or additional interactive elements.

Slider Widget

The Slider Widget displays multiple content tiles in a sliding carousel. By default it includes three Tile Widgets that rotate automatically. Use this widget to present multiple pieces of content in a compact, scrolling format.

Testimonial Widget

The Testimonial Widget displays customer testimonials or quotes in a rotating carousel format. Use this widget to showcase feedback, reviews, or endorsements from customers or partners.

Text And Image Widget

The Text And Image Widget displays a combination of text content and an image side by side. Use this widget to present content where visual and written elements complement each other.

Text Widget

The Text Widget displays a block of formatted text content on the page. It is the most basic content widget for adding rich text, and optionally includes a call-to-action button.

Three Column Widget

The Three Column Widget provides a three-column layout where each column can contain its own addon or content. Use this widget to organize content into three equal sections.

Tile Widget

The Tile Widget displays a compact content block with a centered headline, image, description text, and a button. Tiles are commonly used inside the Slider Widget but can also be used independently on any page.

Two Column Left Widget

The Two Column Left Widget provides a two-column layout with a wider left column. Use this widget when the primary content should be on the left with supporting content in a narrower right column.

Two Column Right Widget

The Two Column Right Widget provides a two-column layout with a wider right column. Use this widget when the primary content should be on the right with supporting content in a narrower left column.

Two Column Widget

The Two Column Widget provides a two-column layout with equal-width columns. Each column can contain its own addon or content block. Use this widget to place two pieces of content side by side.

YouTube Widget

The YouTube Widget embeds a YouTube video on the page with optional headline, description, and caption text. Simply provide the YouTube video URL and the widget handles the responsive embed.
